Gwyneth’s lbd tips

Sometimes being a bargainista is all about investing in the classics - and here’s Gwyneth Paltrow to show us the lbd. “A well-cut, well-proportioned black dress has gotten me through many a fashion crisis,” she writes in her Goop newsletter, before gamely modelling various ways to update your lbd this season, including bright tights, tartan boots and bangles. Extra bargainista points to Gwyneth for including a couple of dresses by TopShop in with the Chanel (although I am quite persuaded by her argument that the Chanel is something that you “save up for and pass down to your daughter because it never goes out of style”).

Meanwhile, if you don’t already have an lbd in your cupboard, see our dresses at koodos, including this one by Aei:Kei, reduced to £155.
