Agyness is a ‘Minger’
Agyness Deyn, the 25 year old ‘model de jour’ / model of the year, is everywhere. Old news we know, having fronted campaigns for Anna Sui, Blugirl by Blumarine, Vivienne Westwood, Mulberry, Gianfranco Ferre and Paul Smith, she has been a busy girl.
Deyn is currently starring in campaigns for Giorgio Armani and Burberry – or is she?
If current rumours are to be believed, she has been dropped by Burberry, and replaced by ‘up and coming’ 21 year old Rosie Huntington-Whiteley. Apparently superstar photographer Mario Testino is bored of her “over exposure†and wants a fresh new look. How quickly opinions change hey?
On the flip side, I read an article about models who want to become actresses, getting nicknamed “Mactresses”, so in my logic, if a model aspires to be a singer, does that make her a “Minger”…? No?
Well anyway, here’s that ‘over exposed’ Deyn again in her new music video ‘Who’, her debut vocal outing, collaborating with the Five O’Clock Heroes.

Her singing actually isn’t that bad - but the video certainly is! It’s so unoriginal - can there be one MORE shot of Agy’s face staring off into the distance? Come on. So ’80s.

Rather average I’d say - if she was actually a minger she’d never get to that stage. Ha - Minger (snigger).
