East London

Liverpool Street

Rokit

Recently this shop has become a popular hang out for trendy teenagers. As a result there are hardly any good products left, while it still has the same price brackets as other vintage stores in Shoreditch, £15 for men’s printed t-shirts. read more »»

Snaresbrook

Revive

Revive’s customers are clearly a disparate bunch. The store takes in clothes on a commission basis and its customers appear to range from high fashion size 8s to middle market shoppers. read more »»

In full bloom on a Sunday when it is packed with stalls that sell anything from old records to handmade organic cakes to splendid dresses. The indoor market has recently been renovated and is now a wonderfully clean and aesthetically pleasing space. read more »»

Aldgate East or Liverpool Street

The Laden Showroom

Not quite a market but definitely not a department store, this indoor collection of small stores has quite a unique layout. It is the kind of place where there is something for everyone and is good for basics. There was a wide range of styles, simple cuts and colours. read more »»

Old Street

Junky Styling

Sells some great eco-friendly recycled pieces, but at £100 apiece they are not really bargains. We did, however, love the pants to poverty boxers and sweets for children in need, so if you’re in the neighbourhood we recommend you pop in and spend your money on a worthwhile cause. read more »»

Hurwundeki

This is the best of the Shoreditch vintage bunch. The upstairs is full of the most amazing items, such as glass bottles, which are stored in old medical cabinets and there is an astonishing range of clothes that date back to the Victorian decade. read more »»
