This store takes in women’s merchandise from the public and boasts some top end designer lines - for example a Roberto Cavalli cocktail dress for £288 and a Gucci silk blouse for £148 on our visit. There are also more moderately priced lines like Goldhawk silk camis for £38 and D&G camis for around £70. read more »»
Thea
The smaller of these two stores has a sweet feel to it with its retro music crackling out of an old record player. Unfortunately, it mainly sells average, bulk standard vintage goods. read more »»
The Girl Can’t Help It
If you are looking for costumes for a Fifties TV drama series this is the place for you. If you are looking for bargains it’s probably not. This store knows exactly what it is and each piece is carefully selected. read more »»
Seconda Mano
You’ll find this vintage store downstairs beneath the hairdresser who owns it and what a find it is. It boasts some outstanding pieces - for example Prada and Matthew Williamson tops for £60-£75. read more »»
Ribbons and Taylor
Men’s and women’s vintage and secondhand clothing from the Fifties onwards. Dresses are £35-£40, with a good selection of special occasionwear, with jeans at around £17 and men’s shirts at around £12. Also sells silver and turquoise jewellery. read more »»
Ressurection Recycle Boutique
Well hidden on the Archway Island, this store takes in merchandise from the public and gives them 50 per cent of sale price. Labels are the top end of high street - eg a Whistles silk top for £24.99. Jeans at £20-£24 are on the expensive side. read more »»

A bulk standard discount store selling new merchandise from unknown labels. Not very fashionable.

A top end store mixing new and vintage designer lines. For example, Ossie Clark vintage dresses for £325 and £800 alongside new Ossie Clark styles. Has a grown up classic feel. Not really bargains.
Nicole Farhi Warehouse Sale
Organised by the lovely Designer Warehouse Sale people, this is an excess stock rather than a sample sale which means plenty of merchandise and different sizes. The October sale included seasonal merchandise - coats from £250 and knitwear from £60. read more »»
