Some talent!
In case you missed this little gem from popular show ‘Britain’s got talent‘, it’s really quite entertaining - even seemed to rock Simon Cowell’s boat. In the words of Michael ‘Don’t stop til you get in enough.’

We all know how we would ‘like’ our men to dress, but the chances are they are more likely to grott around in their jeans and sloppy tee-shirts then a super stylish Giorgio Armani or Lyle and Scott piece.
Well, with the GQ ‘Best Dressed Man’ list 08 being published this month, it may give your man a much required kick start to his fashion sense. So here are the big runners, past and present, in this interesting / ever inspiring list of best-dressed men, this side of mars:
2002/03/04 – David Beckham of Armani and “apparently” football fame (This boy wonder scored a double with the confusing status of 6th best and 9th worst in the 2008 listings).
2005 - Rio Ferdinand – Not too sure about this wild card, but with earnings of over £100k a week, you would think he can afford some style, maybe?
2006 - Clive Owen – There’s a stylish aura about this man, that Lancome and Tag Heuer have also noticed.
2007 - Daniel Craig – 007 in 2007 – Sorry couldn’t help myself!
2008
No. 3 – James McAvoy – it appears starring alongside the luminous Miss Knightley and being spotted in oodles of Gucci and Armani is a sure fire way to get you noticed in the fashion stakes.
No. 2 – Daniel Day Lewis – Spotted in Paul Smith when he picked up his Best Actor Oscar this year, this seasoned thespian keeps ahead of the crowd.
No.1 - Daniel Craig – Reclaiming his 2007 ‘Best Dressed’ crown, this 007 slickster can’t seem to help himself when it comes to looking good. Having been spotted in Dunhill for the Baftas and Tom Ford on set – it’s obviously down to the clothing!
Like ordering at a restaurant with a bunch of your friends, we all want to know what everyone else is doing. In fashion, it gives us ideas on how to form our own look for the upcoming season, and gives a little sneak preview on what works - and what doesn’t.
The big news this spring/summer is floral prints - bold or subtle, bright or subdued, it’s all about working the prints. From the Fashion Week stretch last year there were some very obvious trends to lead with this Spring/Summer - feminine, nipped in waists, cute patterned dresses and colour colour colour. We’ve got some stunners on the site - take a peak here - serve piping hot with a stack of big bangles and perhaps some glad sandals.
Extra tip - to emphasise your Spring/Summery look (and help boost a barely non-existant tan) try using either white or yellow nail polish. A little sceptical at first, I snapped up a little pot of white Barry M polish for just £4 and have since fallen in love with it.
Remember Posh’s acting debut on the big US sitcom hit Ugly Betty (have a peek back here: Ugly Becky)? Seems Naomi Campbell has now secured a spot in the finale of the third season. As she has no shortage of dramatic flair, seen in her varying tantrums and public displays, I personally can’t wait to see Miss Campbell’s performance. And maybe hear from the cast what it was like working with her!
With all the glitz and glamour of London Fashion Week, it is easy to forget about our Capitals other fashion week - The Alternative Fashion Week starting today (21st of April) being held at London’s iconic not to mention trendy, Spitalfields Market.

The Alternative Fashion Week is an eclectic collection of young, up and coming designers all aiming to display their skills and designs at the east London event. Not only are there daily fashion shows, but like London Fashion Week there are stalls and events for visitors to view / buy the wares and meet some of the designers themselves.
Previous AFW’s have helped to propel the likes of Gareth Pugh and Jasper Garvida into the limelight and in turn onto the catwalks of LFW – So make a date and head down to Spitalfields this week and if you’re lucky, you may just bag your self a designer bargain of the future…
Alternative Fashion Week is at Spitalfields Traders Market, Crispin Place, Brushfield St, London E1 21-25 April.
It’s the news we have all been dreading ladies, oh yes, Johnny Depp is finally going to tie the knot with his long time beau and mother of his two children, French singer and former Chanel model, Vanessa Paradis.
The Pirates of the Caribbean star has recently stated that despite not wanting to ruin his partners “perfect” surname (awww), if nuptials are what the lady wants, nuptials are what the lady will get. With a date apparently set for the 14th of June this year, it appears it is time to concede defeat.
Nooooooooooooooooooooooo.
Sob… sniff, sob…
Hold it back ladies, think calming, zen thoughts. Really, we should all pat Vanessa on the back, for she is the woman who has managed to tame the loins of the man, where supermodel Kate Moss and A-list ‘klepto’ Winona Ryder failed before. Thats rather impressive don’t you think?
Ah well, there’s a lot we can learn here and er… when we work it out / stop blubing, we’ll let you know!
Is it really true that blondes have more fun?
Well according to Lily Allen they do. After bleaching her chocolate locks er.. blonde it seems that London’s favourite ‘girl about town’ has lightened up for spring.
She does look cute, we‘ll give her that, but despite her new look I can’t help but think how lovely, individual and stylish she looked with her brown hair against her porcelain skin.
We all know that Lily is a head-strong girl but I hope that this blonde moment is because she wanted to experiment and not because of the pressures to conform within modern celebrity culture – think of the rise and rise of famous blonde air heads, Paris Hilton, Nicole Richie, Ashlee / Jessica Simpson…
Does hair colour really affect your star status? More to the point, does Lily really suit her new blonde do? You decide…
If Winnie the Pooh had seen this, perhaps he’d be less afraid of Heffalumps. Rescued from abuse in Burma, these elephants are taught a special talent. I know this isn’t fashiony, but it’s awfully cute. And actually quite incredible. Who wants to go teach elephants to paint? Is it real? Is it cruel? Or is it a way to raise awareness and funds for these big beautiful creatures?
Myleene Klass is the darling of the British media - no seriously she is!
Beautiful and kind, with a successful music career in both pop and classical genres, a glittering T.V career, a new mother, not to mention being hailed as ‘the woman’ who single handedly helped turn Marks & Spencer’s failings into fortunes - thanks of course, to the high profile Erin, Noemie, Twiggy, Liz and Laura campaigns. Yes, Myleene Klass is a darling.
So why, WHY did she decide to wear this erm… ‘outfit’ to celebrate her 30th birthday at trendy club Vanilla in London’s Fitzrovia last weekend?
Yes, yes I know it’s a fancy dress party but really? From a woman with ever increasing style credentials it seems a little off course.
But hey, she’s fun and nice and all that so maybe we should let her off?
Hmmm…
Glamour magazine has revealed its annual best-dressed celeb list. Kate Moss has been crowned best dressed - taking the title back from Kylie Minogue who knocked Kate off first place for 2007 (and is now at a sorry 19). Kate Moss, followed closely by Sienna Miller and Scarlett Johansson in second and third, recently turned 34 and after a tumultuous year in the press, koodos to her for regaining her poise.
How could she not be super stylish with her choice of designers, ahem, we just happen to have at koodos - Superfine, Made in Heaven, Diesel and more.
