You must have heard of the “Aggy”, everyone is talking about it! They are saying it’s the ‘crop of the decade’. The pixie-chick-come-rock-rebel-peroxide-crop has been taking the world by storm ever since, a now very famous Agyness Deyn, was first shot by iconic photographer Mario Testino only two years ago.

The stylist on set, Sam McKnight saw her “graggy” brown locks and knew she needed more omph… a snip and a bottle of bleach later and the “Aggy” was born. McKnight secretly knew he was creating the next ‘Rachel’ with this girl.

As expected, a troop of celebrity copycats have followed with this cheeky, striking look, namely: Pixie Geldof (well with a name like that?) and Sarah Harding. I’m not sure if i’d rush out and get it tomorrow, but these girls certainly look like they are having fun!

However when Agyness dyed her hair brown to walk the S/S 08 Burberry Prorsum runway, she found that the offers for work were not so frequent without her trade mark blonde locks. So platinum she did return and quickly did her cover shots…

There’s a new IT girl in town and if you don’t know about Alice Dellal, well now’s the time to learn.

When not lounging on Copacabana beach, this punky, shaved, pierced 21 year old is making waves within the fashion world, and not just because her mother was Brazilian model Andrea Dellal.

This girl has it all, a model mum, a millionaire dad, numerous homes across the world, a reputation to die for and a royal boyfriend too match. (Alice is rumoured to be dating Pierre Casiraghi aka Princess Caroline of Monoco’s youngest son - see photo below) Ohhhh get her!

Ok. Ok. This girl has impeccable connections, credit rating, genes, whatever, but she can also add being a Mario Testino muse, an Agent Provocateur model of the future (she’s set to replace Kate Moss when her contract expires), a Parisian Vogue cover and general front row fodder to her portfolio. This girl is in high demand.

We haven’t seen anyone set the fashion world a wagging as much as this since that Agyness Deyn turned up everywhere last year.

Agyness Deyn, the 25 year old ‘model de jour’ / model of the year, is everywhere. Old news we know, having fronted campaigns for Anna Sui, Blugirl by Blumarine, Vivienne Westwood, Mulberry, Gianfranco Ferre and Paul Smith, she has been a busy girl.

Deyn is currently starring in campaigns for Giorgio Armani and Burberry – or is she?

If current rumours are to be believed, she has been dropped by Burberry, and replaced by ‘up and coming’ 21 year old Rosie Huntington-Whiteley. Apparently superstar photographer Mario Testino is bored of her “over exposure” and wants a fresh new look. How quickly opinions change hey?

On the flip side, I read an article about models who want to become actresses, getting nicknamed “Mactresses”, so in my logic, if a model aspires to be a singer, does that make her a “Minger”…? No?

Well anyway, here’s that ‘over exposed’ Deyn again in her new music video ‘Who’, her debut vocal outing, collaborating with the Five O’Clock Heroes.
