Cheet – Young London designer lives the dream
Cheet is an up and coming young design brand, established in London in 2002. Its founder and owner, Emily Cheetham set up the her boutique label to fulfil a life long dream of becoming a designer, leaving a high profile PR career to devote her time to her designs.
Cheet was originally a handbag brand with Cheetham’s attention to detail and flair for individuality, propelling the brand into the mainstream. Cheetham’s designs did not go unnoticed and in 2006 the London Fashion Forum awarded Cheet the honour of Best Accessories Designer in partnership with UK retailer HOBBs. What is more Vogue.com declared Cheet as being ‘a hot new name in bag design’ – quite an accolade.
