Canadian born Patrick Cox has been in love with British culture from a very young age. His love of punk, tweed and even the royal family lead a young Patrick Cox to follow his dream and move to London. Once in London this talented young designer began studying shoe design at the Cordwainers Technical College in Hackney.
By 1985 Patrick Cox was ready to launch his highly acclaimed eponymous collection and it was only a matter of time before celebrities the world over spoke of Patrick Cox as the ‘shoe guru’.
By 1994, Patrick Cox opened his first shop in Paris, followed later that year by another shop opening in Lyon. By 1995 Patrick Cox had two more shops opened in London and was firmly on the ‘designers to watch’ radar.
